Tri Hita Karana

From dawn offerings of woven palm and fragrant frangipani to moonlit temple galungan ceremonies, ritual maintains harmony between spirit and earth.

Complex endek ikat patterns and ceremonial songket cloths woven on heritage backstrap looms using plant-derived pigments and sacred geometry.

The foundational philosophy aligning humanity, nature, and the divine, embodied in communal subak water sharing and shared agricultural labor.

Woven from Memory

Ibu Ketut has spent sixty years sitting before the wooden loom in her family courtyard in Tabola. Each warp and weft of her ceremonial cloth carries symbolic motifs meant to protect the wearer, dyed with root bark and fermented indigo leaves gathered along the riverbank.

To our community, cloth is never merely decorative. It is an offering of patience, carrying spoken prayers for our children and honoring the ancestors who taught our hands how to count the threads.
